Karachi Kings secured a convincing 14 run victory over Quetta Gladiators in the second match of PSL 2026. Moeen Ali top scored with an unbeaten 48 off 29 balls to anchor the Kings innings to 181/7. David Warner smashed 35 off 22 balls while Salman Agha blitzed 22 off just 10 deliveries at the top.
In reply, Shamyl Hussain lit up the chase with a sensational 52 off 24 balls on PSL debut. He and Saud Shakeel added 79 runs in just seven overs. However, the dismissal of Hussain triggered a dramatic collapse. Hasan Ali was the star with the ball, claiming 4/27 including two wickets in two balls in the 19th over. The Gladiators ultimately fell short at 167/7.

First Innings Highlights

Second Innings Highlights
Shamyl Hussain announced himself on the PSL stage with a breathtaking debut innings. He smashed Mir Hamza for a four and a six in just the second over. Furthermore, Saud Shakeel joined the assault with two boundaries off Moeen Ali in the third over.
Shamyl then hammered Hasan Ali for a four and a six in a 16 run fourth over. The onslaught continued as Shamyl brought up the 50 run opening stand off just 27 balls. He reached his fifty in sensational fashion with a six over the bowler’s head off Mir Hamza in just 21 balls. The pair raced to 79 without loss after seven overs.
However, Salman Agha broke the stand by dismissing Shamyl for 52. Adam Zampa then bowled Khawaja Nafay with a superb wrong one for 3. As a result, the momentum shifted completely towards Karachi.
