The Pakistan Cricket Board has opened nominations for the 11th edition of HBL PSL Hamaray Heroes, inviting fans to submit entries honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to society and enhanced Pakistan’s positive image.
The initiative, returning for its sixth consecutive year, will run during HBL Pakistan Super League 11, which kicks off on March 26.
Nomination Details and Deadline
Fans can submit nominations through an online form available on the official PCB website until 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. The initiative will be bigger than previous editions as eight teams feature in the league for the first time.
What is Hamaray Heroes?
First introduced in HBL PSL 5 in 2020, Hamaray Heroes has become a hugely successful initiative that uses the reach and platform of Pakistan’s premier cricket league to acknowledge and celebrate Pakistanis making a meaningful difference in society.
Shortlisted candidates receive:
- Cash awards presented during HBL PSL matches
- Short documentaries highlighting their achievements are broadcast on PSL digital platforms and live match telecasts
- National recognition on cricket’s biggest domestic stage

Notable personalities recognized through previous editions include:
- Late Ali Sadpara – Record-breaking mountaineer
- Arshad Nadeem – Paris Olympics gold medalist in javelin
- Arslan Ash – Professional E-Sports champion
- Inam Butt – Wrestler and Commonwealth Games gold medalist
- Kiran Khan – Olympic swimmer
- Mohammad Wasim – Boxer
- Dr. Mariam Sultana – First Pakistani to earn a PhD in Astrophysics

Fans can nominate personalities from diverse fields, including:

- Education
- Healthcare

- Social work and entrepreneurship

Eligibility Guidelines
- Nominees must be Pakistani citizens, individuals of Pakistani heritage, residents of Pakistan, or organizations registered in Pakistan
- Individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses can be nominated in multiple categories
- PCB employees, direct suppliers, current Hamaray Heroes members, and sponsor employees are ineligible
- A PCB panel will review nominations and shortlist candidates
- Judges’ panel decisions are final
- Submission does not guarantee shortlisting or awards
HBL PSL 11 kicks off on March 26 with defending champions Lahore Qalandars facing Hyderabad Kingsmen at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
