Consequently, the Pindiz raced to 50 inside just 25 balls. Furthermore, the opening pair plundered 63 runs in the power play without losing a wicket. Ali Raza finally broke the 125-run opening partnership by dismissing Rizwan for 41 at long on. However, Kamran Ghulam maintained the momentum with a punchy 37 off 20 balls, including three sixes. Yasir fell for a magnificent 83 off 46 balls, featuring seven fours and six sixes.

Meanwhile, Daryl Mitchell smashed a reverse scoop six off his second ball and finished with 23 off 13. Sam Billings added late fireworks with a scoop six over fine leg. The Pindiz crossed the 200 mark for the first time in their PSL history, finishing on a daunting 214/4.

Second Innings Highlights

Babar Azam set the tone with a gorgeous cover drive off Mohammad Amir in the very first over. He and Mohammad Haris attacked relentlessly as the Zalmi matched the Pindiz’s aggression. Haris smashed a six and a four off Amir in the third over. Moreover, Babar lashed three boundaries in the fourth over off Asif Afridi as the pair raced to 62 without loss in the powerplay.

However, Asif Afridi provided a crucial breakthrough after a successful DRS review, trapping Babar lbw for 39. Haris fell in the very next over for 47, caught brilliantly by Rizwan off Amad Butt. Kusal Mendis then counterattacked with a quickfire 31 off 17 balls, including two sixes.

On the other hand, Aaron Hardie struggled to 8 off 10 balls before holing out to long off. At that point, the asking rate had climbed to nearly 15 runs per over. Michael Bracewell and Abdul Samad then produced a breathtaking partnership.

Bracewell smashed a six off his first ball from Rishad Hossain and followed it with two fours. Samad was equally destructive with back-to-back sixes off Naseem Shah. Consequently, the pair plundered 64 runs together to swing the match decisively.

Amir finally removed Samad for 33, but it proved too late. Aamer Jamal sealed the deal with a no-ball six and a boundary off Naseem Shah. He finished it off with a sweep to the boundary off Asif Afridi as the Zalmi reached 218/5 in 19.1 overs.
